Maintain a Balanced City Budget

I served on the Budget Review Committee (BRC) for three years.  I know the challenges and choices the City of Poway faces in keeping to its core mission and will ensure that expenditures don't exceed revenues and that money is put away for the lean times. 

This requires that the City government remain laser-focused on its core functions, avoiding unneeded expenditures, and contracting out certain operations to avoid the burden imposed by the generous State run pension programs.
